"Like I mentioned here this is a
freebie, with less hits and only three “velocities”.
This recording is RAW!
There is no EQ or compression. In my
point of view, I rather be able to sculpt the sound
the way that I want than receive a baked version of
the sample, that will make the instrument sound
pretty much the same as everyone’s else using the
same samples…
I'll be putting out a commercial
pack with those two "instruments":
- the same snare, but sounding a
little different than this one (different tuning)
and with more samples for each velocity, again,
un-processed
- a "hybrid" one that will be made
out of different samples from the same snare, mixed
together to get the best attack, punch and low end
(all done via tuning).
The packs are delivered in .TCI
files and regular .WAV files"
